13th Floor, Haunted House entrance

We arrived at 13th Floor and headed inside the event space - about half was indoor & half was outdoor so we made sure to bring jackets & wore comfortable shoes. 13th Floor had numerous activities to take part in along with the main haunted house such as the Shriekeasy Bar, Sensory Overload, Mini Escape Game, Axe Throwing, R.I.P Cabanas & food trucks.

Prior to the haunt, we made our way into the Shriekeasy Bar for some drinks.

Shriekeasy Bar

The Shriekeasy is the onsite bar where 21+ patrons can enjoy spooky libations before or after experiencing the haunted house (IDs checked on site). We enjoyed some drinks to muster up our liquid courage then headed to the main haunt - we were ready for all the scares & spooktacular memories.

We had Skip The Line, Flex tickets which allowed us to have immediate access to the haunted house & enter the Skip the Line queue whenever we wanted (flex).

13th Floor, Haunted House

13th Floor has three attractions in the primary haunted house; this year those attractions were Primal Fear, Midnight Mania and All Hallows Eve. In Primal Fear we came face to face with Bigfoot. In Midnight Mania we survived the Blackthorn Slasher in a condemned dorm house at Blackthorn Manor.

Blackthorn Slasher

In All Hallows Eve we had to escape a cursed group of undead trick or treaters. Midnight Mania was my favorite!

After we made it through 13th Floor we checked out Sensory Overload. Sensory Overload was an intense, fear inducing maze that was pitch dark (seriously we couldn’t see anything). Our group had to fully rely on touch & sound to make our way through the numerous challenges of Sensory Overload. This interactive experience required that we use our hands to guide ourselves through the maze while walking, ducking, stepping over & squeezing through strange spaces. This experience had us thoroughly spooked but thanks to Chris leading the way, we made it all the way through unscathed!

Next up was the Mini Escape Game and it was so much fun - the four of us were locked in two jails cells and then had to work together to find clues and solve riddles in order to escape.

At Class Axe Throwing we became familiar with a 1.5lb axe as we learned, practiced and then finally squared off for target throwing - we all hit hole in ones thanks to the great axe coach onsite.

If you’re looking to elevate your 13th Floor experience, VIP R.IP. cabanas are available for groups to book. The R.I.P. Cabana tickets include the cabana space, tickets to the haunt, a bucket of beer and/or seltzers of your choice, a large popcorn, 10 axe throws, arms reach access to games and activities such as jumbo jenga, guaranteed visits from the haunt’s un-dead characters and $13 off merch.
