Zicke Zacke Zicke Zacke Oi Oi Oi! Denver Oktoberfest just held their staple two weekend festival & we had a blast attending.

We arrived at Denver Oktoberfest and headed into the festival. Denver Oktoberfest boasted all the German favorites from brews, booze, Bavarian foods, keg bowling, stein hoisting, live music & the VIP Beer Hall. Our tickets were VIP & in the VIP tent we enjoyed all we could eat & drink. With our VIP tickets we also received the official 2022 Oktoberfest Stein, had access to the VIP gaming area, private restrooms & were in the shade. The staff in the tent were quick to serve and friendly. All of these additional amenities were so nice & next year we’ll certainly go the VIP route again.

In the VIP tent - we all ordered Marzen Pilsners from Prost Brewing CO. The Marzen Pilsners were a lovely gold with an excellent head of foam. The aroma was of light caramel and floral hops while the taste profile had a nutty, malty sweetness to it. We all had a blast slamming our steins together and yelling “PROST!” in true Oktoberfest fashion. There were lots of other drink options available including hard seltzers & canned cocktails.

For food we all had freshly fired up bratwursts & pretzels; the food line got long quickly so we ordered everything we wanted for the day in one fell swoop. The German-style bratwursts were piping hot, juicy & full of pork flavor. Each brat was topped with ketchup, mustard & sauerkraut. The mildly seasoned sausages paired great with the Marzen Pilsner.
