Date Night deal - Kona Grill in Cherry Creek has rolled out their new Date Night Dinner for Two Menu for only $39/person!

The Date Night Menu is a prix fix 3 course menu where you and your date get to choose 1 Starter, 2 Main Courses and 1 Dessert. You can add a bottle of Prosecco or Wine on for only $25 more.
We arrived at Kona Grill and were seated at a high top by the bar. Our server Alyssia and the General Manager took great care of us and ensured our food and drinks came out quickly. Alyssia had great recommendations on what to order from the Date Night menu.

For drinks we went the signature cocktail route and started with the Patio Bubbles. The Patio Bubbles were made with New Amsterdam Mango Vodka, La Marca Prosecco, mango, raspberry & lemon.

This cocktail had a tropical aroma and the raspberries added nice tartness to each sip.
For Starters we had the choice of Lobster Toast, Ribeye Meatballs or Ribeye Sliders. We ordered the Lobster Toast which was made with spicy lobster mix, sliced avocado, microgreens, maldon salt and buttered French toast.

This fancy toast was a good combination of sweet lobster meat and citrus-spiked avocado.
For Mains we had the choice of Sweet - Chili Glazed Salmon, Big Island Ribeye, Korean 5-Spiced Ribs or an Assorted Sushi Board. We ordered the Sweet - Chili Glazed Salmon and the Assorted Sushi Board.
The Sweet - Chili Glazed Salmon was served atop fried rice.

The salmon was tender and the mild fish had it's flavor kicked up a notch with the chili glaze. The glaze was a sweet and spicy marinade that provided subtle heat from the chilis & a touch of honey and citrus.
The Assorted Sushi Board was made with a spicy crunchy tuna roll, salmon sushi, tuna sushi, yellowtail sushi, shrimp sushi and eel sushi.

Our favorite was the spicy crunchy tuna roll - the crunchy Panko crumbs, chewy rice, smooth fish & creamy aioli was a fabulous flavor & texture combination.
For dessert we had New York Cheesecake. The cheesecake was served with raspberry sauce, chocolate covered strawberries and whipped cream.

This classic cheesecake was smooth & creamy and the raspberry sauce was bright & tangy. The chocolate covered strawberries were delicious and a great addition to the cheesecake.
