Contour Collection, Boutique Med Spa has opened their doors in Wash Park and I could not wait to get in & get contoured. Contour Collection is a Boutique Aesthetics Practice offering elevated skin care, cosmetic dermatology and non-invasive procedures.

I arrived at Contour Collection and headed inside. The space was airy & inviting with huge amounts of natural light, pops of pink & rose gold and modern light fixtures. Founder Ainsley Ellington & Nurse Practitioner, Katie Averson greeted me with radiant smiles - you know you're in the right aesthetic practice when the practitioners are this stunning.

Both Ainsley & Katie have worked in the aesthetics industry in Beverly Hills and with Contour Collection, they’re bringing Beverly Hills to Denver.

Contour Collection offers a plethora of treatments including contour-enhancing injectables, skin tightening & skin care. My next couple of months of treatment with Contour Collection will include Botox, an Aquagold facial & microneedling (to name a few).

Katie Averson is the Queen of Botox and the best injector in Denver. She was a Registered Nurse for five years and graduated with a Master’s in Nursing at Regis University in May of 2021. Katie’s extensive medical knowledge & passion for evidence-based practices makes for a science-driven aesthetic technique. I've trusted her with my injections for 5 years and she always offers compassionate client care & ensures that I feel informed and comfortable with my treatment.

Katie led me back to one of the treatment rooms; we got comfortable and began discussing my Botox plan for the day. Katie and I discussed what areas of my face to target to help smooth creases, create glow and relieve tension in my jaw.

Katie is very precise in her injection technique and marked my face with white pencil on the affected areas. The white dots served as a facial map for injection site. My forehead, eyes & jaw were marked and then subsequently treated.

The Botox treatment didn’t hurt - each injection felt like a small pinch. Katie gave me a gold beauty vibration tool to place on my leg or sternum to distract from the pinching sensation during treatment. I got 20 units of Botox in my forehead and around my eyes. I got 40 units of Botox in my jaw (20 units each side).

The Botox in the forehead and around the eyes smoothed out fine lines and wrinkles while the Botox in my jaw relieved a serious amount of tension to keep me from clenching & grinding my teeth. The jaw Botox also slimmed my jawline down. I will be returning to Contour Collection every 3 months for Botox.
