Rain Wedge Boot
Denverites, this Spring has brought more snow than we saw all Winter! Because the weather can't figure out wtf it's doing (like seriously I'm so over the cold) - I wanted to splurge on some cute waterproof wedges that I could wear in rain/snow and still be stylish. If the weather is going to be sh*tty, might as well look pretty!!
Where to wear this look? Dinner - I wore this outfit to K Rico during our last trip to NYC (full review coming soon). Or, grab lunch or go shopping with your girls at The Source.
Aside from my boots, this look is head to toe from Lulus.
This outfit was built entirely around these Sorel Women's Joan Rain Wedge Boots. I would recommend sizing down in these babies but they are v comfy so are great for walking around in the elements. You'll also get a lot of questions on these boots and what brand they are etc. They're totally different from most boots out there and they catch people's attention!
My Sorel wedges are the Collegiate Navy, Atmosphere color. This inspired me to find other navy pieces for the outfit to really compliment the wedges. The Montara Red Striped Backless Midi Dress from Lulus caught my eye as the navy stripes would go well with my wedges. It was also a sexy enough choice to wear to dinner in NYC as the tie open back shows some skin! PS the coverage in the front is better for gals with small boobs (aka me and not Treslyn lol). So keep that in mind if this dress is calling out for you to buy it!
I wanted something trendsetting on my head so the boots didn't overwhelm the entire outfit - enter the Two Steps Ahead Navy Blue Suede Leather Baker Boy Cap from Lulus.
Since it was still cold in NYC, I snagged this Retro La La Tan Suede Sherpa Jacket from Lulu's to keep warm. The shaggy faux sherpa fur interior and cuff accents on this jacket worked well with the cream stripes on the dress. The tan on the jacket and dress then complimented the choice of pairing the outfit with the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Monagram bag.
For the dainty details, we chose the Miley Silver Hoop earrings from Lulus. They were a great accent piece to peak under the suede cap!
