denv.her. was invited to Voicebox Karaoke Lounge in RiNo a couple weeks back and we were v amp-ed to check out this hot karaoke spot (albeit a bit nerv as my sister and I are tone deaf). Regardless of our singing handicap, it turned out to be an epic time.

Voicebox is a karaoke bar that offers private karaoke suites that you can reserve for parties, work outings, or just a fun get together with friends. The suite size varies based on your party size and Voicebox offers a couple of different sized rooms. The karaoke suites are reserved by the hour so you can plan how long you want to jam out for.

Voicebox provides a solid food and beverage selection so you can fuel up for the singing escapades. denv.her. and friends were certainly gunning for the beverages to give us some liquid courage so we could belt our fav tunes (which naturally consisted of a lot of T-Swift and Blink 182).

When you walk into Voicebox, you're greeted by multiple disco balls funk-ifying the space - v retro hip and we're digging it. The exposed brick and graffiti walls throughout the bar area solidify the cool factor of Voicebox.

Once we grabbed a couple drinks at the bar, we were taken to our Voicebox suite. The suite reserved for us was for 10 people and we had it for two hours.

Our suite was equipped with 3 microphones, 2 lyric flat screens, and 1 massive song book to select songs from. You choose songs from this book and type in the corresponding song number with the TV remote. Once you have punched in the song number, the song goes into queue on the TV. You can set up as many songs in queue as you like and if you by chance get to a song that you selected and are no longer feeling it, simply skip that song and go to the next one in queue.

We v quickly began selecting our songs and the singing began shortly after.

While we partied and sang, the great Voicebox staff made sure we were taken care of drink and food-wise throughout our entire two hours in the suite. They also kept us updated on the time which was easy to lose track of since we were having such a good time!

Voicebox offers a really fun and different experience from anything in Denver. It's a lot less intimidating singing in front of good friends than trying to sing on a stage in front of strangers at a hole in the wlal bar. Voicebox is 100% the way to go if you're looking for the best karaoke experience in Denvy.
