Le Bilboquet, Champagne Saturday

Le Bilboquet is one of my favorite brunch spots in Denver - their Cajun Chicken & Champagne Saturdays are the perfect combination of great food & fun to kick off the weekend.

Le Bilboquet is located in Cherry Creek. The aesthetic is French Art Deco-inspired with elegant boutique touches throughout. It's a place you can actually dress up cute for brunch (which are few and far between in Denver!). Every Saturday at Le Bilboquet in Denver is Champagne Saturday. While brunch is served, DJ Cleopatra spins from 11am-3pm while the Champagne Specials + sparklers abound!

We were sat in the main dining room for brunch.

Service was wonderful per usual - the staff is graceful & refined.

We ordered a bottle of Veuve to kick off our Champagne Saturday & the sparklers and beats were popping off!

To eat we had the Le Poulet Cajun, Les Oeufs Florentine and Les Crêpes au Nutella.

Le Poulet Cajun is the Signature Cajun Chicken served with Beurre Blanc & French Fries.

Le Poulet Cajun

Such a simple yet succulent dish that made me a Le Bilboquet stan. The spice-rubbed, pan seared chicken breast was tender as can be. The chicken was smothered in rich Beurre Blanc sauce making the meat lusciously buttery. Each bite of the Le Poulet Cajun had a fresh snap when dressed salad leaves were added to a bite. The salad balanced the richness of sauce and spice of the chicken. A must order! Oh & I can't forget to mention the perfect fries that come with the Le Poulet Cajun. They’re crisp on the outside and hot & fluffy on the inside. Make sure to dip them in mayo.

Les Oeufs Florentine are Poached Eggs atop Smoked Salmon, Spinach, English Muffin, and coated in Hollandaise Sauce.

Les Oeufs Florentine

A classic Eggs Florentine recipe that was wonderful. Ross loved the rich Hollandaise Sauce and the light crunch from the English Muffin.

Les Crêpes au Nutella are Crêpes made with Hazelnut Chocolate Spread.

Les Crêpes au Nutella

The crepe itself was light & delicately sweet. The chocolate hazelnut filling was indulgent with a velvety texture & fresh cocoa & hazelnut flavor (comparable to that of a Ferrero Rocher). This was the perfect dessert to end our brunch.
