Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns

Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns is a brand new seasonal attraction for all ages at Hudson Gardens in Littleton, Colorado. The immersive pumpkin experience is now open & will run through Halloween night, Sunday, October 31, 2021. Get your tickets here: magicofthejackolanterns.com !

We headed to Hudson Gardens around 6:30 as the sun was setting. We’re glad we had earlier tickets (6:45) because the line was minimal when we arrived & we got through the entrance quickly. Upon entering Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns, we could see the Jack O’Lanterns' light whimsically gleaming across the entirety of the gardens. I'm talking about the glow of 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins & larger-than-life displays that are sure to delight the entire family!

We found our way along the walking trail to a nautical seascape & magic carnival. We spotted pumpkin dinosaurs & dragons! There was Jack O’Lantern magic around every corner.

No Jack O’Lantern jaunt would be complete without some fall eats & treats! There are food trucks that can be found halfway into the Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns display. I'm talking tacos, popcorn, beer & specialty funnel cakes (OH MY GOURD YES).

We got a classic funnel cake and a Reese's peanut butter cup funnel cake - both were sinfully delicious with their sweet batter & indulgent toppings.

One of my favorite displays in Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns was the Harry Potter display! There was a large glowing canvas depicting Harry, Hermione and Ron trying to catch the flying key in the Philosopher's Stone!

We also caught Snape mean mugging along the trail; don't go(urd) breakin' any Hogwarts school rules around him!

Tickets for Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns range in price from $10.99 - $14.99 for kids (ages 3-12), and from $14.99 - $19.99 for adults (ages 13+). Children 2 & under do not need a ticket to enter. Tickets are on sale now at magicofthejackolanterns.com !
