Boob.

Job.

YES.

To everyone curious & asking

- Yes -

I. got. a. boob. job.

#WHOOP!

Like, I DID NOT go from a measly B to a DD over night by miraculous happenings lol.

Even though that would have been SUPER chill if it would have happened that way.

I've wanted a boob job, well, for forever - I realized long ago that my mom and sister took all the boobies in the fam & I was stuck with itty bitties….& that wasn’t a committee I had interest in staying on lol.

Was I actively planning to get a boob job last fall? Nope. Ross and I were supposed to go to Japan but due to his work demands, I was only going to get about 2 days of his time on this 11 day Japanese vacay...

C’hyeah - I wasn't going to subject myself to 30 hours worth of flying to Japan for only 2 days with my husband and 9 days of wandering around Tokyo and Kyoto by myself LOL. Two thumbs WAY down - that sounds like a bad time!

SO.

What's a girl to do?

I had the PTO & Ross said we could do something stateside instead with less of a time commitment...

Boob. Job.

Now who to go to?

An acquaintance of mine had gone to Stacey Folk in Cherry Creek for her breast aug & her boobs are PHENOMENAL to put it lightly. So I had a pretty clear heading towards Stacey from the get go - but I still did my due diligence to ensure she was the correct surgeon for me.

I combed through Folk’s website and was pleased with the results, testimonials and accolades there.

Then I started asking around about Folk’s practice. What I quickly found out is that Stacey Folk is v, v, V well known in the plastic surgery community. Her reputation proceeds her and everyone I spoke with - unsolicited - sang her praises.

Stacey books out for months on end SOLELY on word of mouth referrals. There's no gimmicky marketing or eyebrow raising payment plans pushing her practice's surgeries or offerings.

I soon felt very confident that Stacey was going to be the surgeon for me - so, next step was to book a consultation.

I called Stacey's office in September and let them know I would like to come in for a consult and tentatively be scheduled for surgery soon after (seeing the consultation went well of course).

The admin appreciated my enthusiasm and let me know she could get me scheduled for a consultation in the upcoming weeks - BUT - she then let me know that Stacey was booked out surgery wise until February.

- GASP -

That was 6 months away! This was obviously not the news I wanted to hear - I wanted these boobies now!

SO, I laid out my ideal timeline:

"FEBRUARY?!? OOF!

Is there anyway I can get on a waiting list to be scheduled sooner? My friend recommended Stacey and I'm certain she'll be the surgeon for me.

I would really, REALLY like to get my breast augmentation surgery in October if possible

- and I'm willing to pay in full immediately."

Those are scheduling words folks.

If you want a chance to get on a surgeon's demanding schedule sooner rather than later, you have to show you're 100% serious on following through with the cosmetic surgery.

Also, if you have a referral's name to drop, that never hurts!

So, did I get my boobies in October?

Still no lol. #whaaawhaaa

BUT, my consultation was scheduled for two days following my initial call AND I got my boobies in November.

#SCORE

(keep in mind the landscape of expediting cosmetic surgery has most likely changed with Covid-19)

Anyways, I'm going to walk you all through my Pre & Post-Op Breast Aug timelines so you can know what to expect if this surgery is of interest to you. & note, I'm doing this review on my own accord - this is not a sponsored post. I want to share deets with you all based on my personal experience.

& based on my personal experience, I stand behind Stacey's surgical talent, her employees, & practice 100%!
