Wonderyard Garden + Table

We checked out Wonderyard this weekend and were immersed in a playful atmosphere that offered creative cocktails, shareable plates, & flatbreads.

We arrived and were seated in the main dining room. Pink neon lights, a panoramic butterfly screen, and lighthearted decor dominated the space.

The patio was huge, and we can’t wait to check it out on a warm day (there were bird cage booths & carousel horses out there - it was giving whimsical).

Our server, Braden was wonderful. He had the best energy, was attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed during our visit.

We started with cocktails. The Perfect Pear was made with Mediterranean gin, orange & pear liqueur, vermouth, lemon, & orange flower water. This cocktail was served in a coup glass with a lovely floral rim; the taste was very gin forward.

The Vanity Fair was made with vodka, cucumber, mint, clarified lemon, basil, & house-made firewater. We loved this cocktail - refreshing & an easy drinker.

For Shareables we had the Seasonal Bruschetta and the Hamachi Crudo. The Seasonal Bruschetta was made with house-made citrus focaccia, fig, arugula, ricotta, prosciutto, balsamic, & EVOO. The fluffy ricotta was my favorite part of the bruschetta.

The Hamachi Crudo was made with Japanese hamachi, tomatillo aquachili, crispy shallots, shishito peppers, toasted sesame seeds, & cucumber. The hamachi offered a mild sweetness to the flavorful aquachile. The sesame seeds and cucumber rounded out this dish with their own subtle notes.

For Flatbreads we had the Prosciutto Pear-Fection made with mozzarella, gorgonzola dolce, Asian pear, prosciutto, & baby arugula. The baby arugula added a peppery balance to the richness of the pizza's creamy mozzarella & gorgonzola base.
