Debut of Rosé, Taste of Vail

Our first event at the Taste of Vail was the Debut of Rosé at The Lodge.

We arrived at The Lodge at Vail and headed inside - the Debut of Rosé was held in the grand ballroom. At this event we were able to experience just released rosé wines; there were over 80 different kinds to try. We were able to discuss each rosé with an expert and learn where it came from, how it was produced, and what to expect for the smell & taste profile.

Numerous Vail restaurants participated and served up elevated bites. The Remedy Bar at Four Seasons Vail had smoked salmon eclairs topped with crème fraiche and caviar. Mountain Fish House & Oyster Bar had lobster sliders. Grill on the Gore had shrimp cocktail.

There was live music and the band kept the energy high with Johnny Cash favorites.

The Rosé wines we tried embraced a diversity of styles & flavors. From semi-sweet to off-dry to bone-dry, the rosés were fun & refreshing. The Left Coast Brut Rosé of Pinot Meunier was an exceptional sparkler with some snap on the tongue.

The Santa Margherita Rosé was vibrant on the palate with grapefruit and strawberries. The Whispering Angel Rosé was bone dry with crisp acidity. The Beach Rosé by Whispering Angel was playful and fruit forward.

Big thanks to Taste of Vail, Ali Chiafery, and Think Big Media PR for hosting us!
