Bubbles & Pearls Party, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar

Jax’s annual Bubbles & Pearls Party was a shucking good time. We sipped on unlimited champagne and enjoyed a wide array of oysters & oyster bites.

We arrived at Jax in Glendale and took a seat at a high top table by the bar. We were welcomed with a sparkling Brut wine; the Santa Maria La Palma Aragosta Spumante Brut. It was light & lemony wine with a pleasant green apple finish. The Aragosta Spumante Brut complemented the oysters well.

The unlimited oyster bites included freshly shucked oysters, fried oyster BLTs, oyster crudo and several more.

My favorite were the fried oyster BLTs. The fried oyster had a great crunch against the soft bun and chew of the bacon.
