Five Nines

Luxurious libations. Sultry entertainment. Elegant bites. Five Nines is bringing sexy back with their elevated cocktail lounge in Cherry Creek.

Five Nines Entrance

We arrived at Cherry Creek’s Clayton Members Club & Hotel and valeted the car (Clayton offers valet parking for $7). Five Nines is attached to Cherry Creek’s Clayton Members Club & Hotel, right next to OAK market.

We walked into the entrance hall of Five Nines and were greeted by Maitre D, Charles. Charles was such a gentleman and immediately made us feel welcome. He offered us his arms to walk us into the lounge and assisted in getting our coats checked.

Upon walking into the main lounge, we were engulfed in a sensual atmosphere. Five Nine's is dimly lit and filled with gorgeous velvet chairs & banquettes. The numerous moody dark blues used throughout the space made the lounge feel really intimate. The sensuous curved ceiling is a defining, eye-catching feature of the space.

The staff of Five Nines were knowledgeable & foxy. Our server Noel was exceptional and knew the Five Nines menu inside and out. She thoughtfully guided us in our orders based on what liquors we tend to gravitate towards. Simply put, Noel was outstanding and really made our Five Nines experience. Managers, Eugene, Sean & Michael were lively and engaged; their positive energy was felt throughout the Five Nines atmosphere.

For our first round of cocktails, we ordered from the 'Uncut Gems' (Julia Fox voice) portion of the menu. The Uncut Gems cocktails were craveable modern classics. I had the Pornstar Martini. The Pornstar Martini is made with Tito's vodka, lime, passionfruit, vanilla and champagne.

Pornstar Martini

The Pornstar Martini is Five Nine's most popular cocktail and upon first sip, we could see why! The tart passion fruit was the heart of the drink and gave the vodka a lovely, tropical fruitiness. This cocktail came with a sidecar of champagne. The champs made for a tingling drinking experience. The Pornstar Martini was a classy and delicious cocktail that I will order again in the future.

Lillienne started off with the Ship To Wreck. The Ship To Wreck is made with teeling small batch Irish whiskey, Hamilton 86 Rum, cinnamon demerara, and bitterman's tiki bitters.

Ship To Wreck

The Ship To Wreck was solid. The small batch Irish whiskey tasted of malt and toffee with accents of brown sugar and grains. The cinnamon demerara syrup brought out beautiful notes of cinnamon spice and imparted good depth to the drink overall. The bitters resulted in a warming cocktail with a hint of the tropics.

At the top of the hour every hour - from 6pm to 10pm (and 11pm on Friday & Saturday) - Five Nines has burlesque inspired entertainment on their main stage from the Hard Candy Dancers.

Hard Candy Dancers

The Hard Candy ladies captivated the audience with their alluring performances - they were fabulous!

For bites we had the Manchengo Charcuterie Board & the Potato Chips - both elevated appetizers that paired well with our cocktails.

Next up were two cocktails from the 'Forged in Fire' portion of the menu. The Forged in Fire cocktails focus on booze, sugar, citrus and spice components. I had the Flame to Field and Lilliene had the Road to Jerez.

The Flame to Field is made with St. George Green Chile Vodka, Vida Mezcal, pineapple, orgeat, lime, mole bitters and served with a side of corn nuts.

Flame to Field

Flame to Field

The Flame to Field was hands down our favorite cocktail of the night! The St. George Green Chile Vodka tasted of pepper balanced by citrusy sweetnes & zest from the pineapple and lime. The Vida Mezcal added amazing smokiness with a nose of roasted agave and a palate of burnt sandalwood. This cocktail had a lingering, soft finish that the side of fiery corn nuts kicked up a notch. 10/10.

The Road To Jerez is made with Tequila Ocho Reposado, cardamaro, lustau east, India solera sherry and angostura bitters.

Road To Jerez

The Road To Jerez was rich and full bodied. We loved the fire presentation.

Huge thanks to Five Nines, Noel, Eugene, Sean, Michael, Nicolle Montgomery and b public relations for hosting us! We will be back very soon!

Check it out babes and let them know that denv.her. sent you! xx
