We were lucky enough to be invited to one of the grand openings nights and were greeted by an amazing staff, an intoxicating atmosphere, several celebs, complimentary drinks and melt in your mouth meats. But seriously, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH meats people. I have never been so happy to not be a vegetarian.

Intoxicating is the best word I can think of to describe STK Denver. We did not want to leave. The décor is stunning and the food is on par with everything you see. STK encompasses a modern youth vibe perfectly with its contemporary art pieces and trendy neon signs. The neon signs read “The Pressure Is Good For You” and “Dare to Be” which I’m not even sure what the first quote is alluding to, but I like it lol.

Massive and absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements frame the bar area which take after the upper class bar scene you find in CA and NY.

Now let’s talk about the music; 90’s and early 2000’s throwback heaven people! I’m talking old school Just Dance and Poker Face, Lady Gaga. Rosa Parks by OutKast. We were jammin all night long.

The coolest thing about this place is it’s a restaurant and a club combined. You can now go to a high class dinner with your friends and not rush to a different bar afterwards! You can easily go to STK for a bite to eat at 7pm and stay there partying for the rest of your night. The elevated seating area located behind the bar has a Vegas vibe to it with its low lounging booths and elevated walkways in-between. If you’re not standing up on those walkways and dancing after you finish your filet, you’re doing it wrong.

STK is obviously a play on “steak” and boy was the steak good. Honestly we couldn’t get enough of all the food choices this place was offering. The Lil’ Brgs are a perfect appetizer to start off with if you’re fairly hungry when you arrive! A generous waygu beef patty is paired with a mouthwatering special sauce on a sesame seed bun. I ate two of these guys and felt full; but that did not stop me from trying everything else lol. For a lighter appetizer, if you like raw fish, try the tuna tartare which is paired with hass avocado, taro chips, and a soy honey emulsion sauce. So tangy and SO yummy.

Obviously if you find yourself at STK you MUST order one of their STKs. I would recommend getting your meat cooked medium rare; it’s always better when it’s still moo’ing a bit right?

Don’t forget the mac & cheese and parmesan truffle fries as sides!

If you’re not convinced yet, go check it out for yourself! This is the new hot place to be.
